RMH Franchise Corporation Acquires 33 Applebee’s Restaurants in Indiana and Ohio

Atlanta, GA (September 1, 2015) – RMH Franchise Corporation, the 2nd largest Applebee’s franchisee, announced the recent acquisition of 33 Applebee’s restaurants located in Indiana and Ohio. The restaurants were purchased from Apple Sauce, Inc., a franchisee based in Crestview Hills, KY.

“These restaurants are a great strategic fit for us as they bridge our existing restaurants in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. We are very excited about bringing their operating teams into the RMH family and look forward to the continued growth of RMH,” said CEO Jeff Neumann.

RMH acquired its first Applebee’s restaurants in December of 2012. Through new restaurant development and additional acquisitions, Atlanta-based RMH operates 173 restaurants, and employs more than 10,000 employees across 15 states. RMH is a portfolio company of an affiliate of ACON Investments, a Washington, DC-based international private equity investment firm.
